It was a hot, sunny day across the CSRA. We avoided the showers and storms but got plenty of heat and humidity. As we move into the overnight hours, expect clear skies and muggy conditions. Tomorrow, we’re back to the sunshine and heat. Expect a high in the mid 90s and heat index values pushing into the triple digits. We’ll have sunny skies, so be sure to put on sunscreen if you’re outside for an extended period of time. Wednesday looks almost identical to Tuesday with mostly sunny skies and hot conditions. We’re back to the summer pattern on Thursday with scattered showers and storms in the afternoon and evening. Expect this to continue through the weekend with highs in the low to mid 90s.
