After a stormy Mother’s Day weekend, the CSRA is going to start clearing out. Expect some clouds this morning before the sunshine finally pushes it’s way back into the picture. It could be a breezy day as the cold front passes through, though our high temperatures could still hit the mid 80s. Tomorrow, we’ll have the full effect of the front as we experience sunny skies and a high in the upper 70s. Sunshine is going to stick around for the entire week. Don’t expect to see too many clouds as high pressure sits over the southeast. Eventually, much warmer air will start flowing in and our highs will rise from the low 80s to the low 90s by next weekend. With summer heat returning, it’s a good time to remember to stay hydrated and take breaks in the shade. Also, under no circumstances should you leave a child or pet in the car. It’s also a good time to remember to stock up on sunscreen.
