It could be a pretty stormy weekend as a slow-moving cold front slides through the CSRA. Expect mostly cloudy skies today as temperatures climb into the mid 80s. By the afternoon, showers and thunderstorms will enter the region. There’s a chance a few of those storms could be severe, so make sure you have a shelter plan in place if necessary. We’ll see another line of storm tomorrow, with scattered severe storms possible. This means the next two days could feature some dangerous weather, so stay tuned to WJBF for updates on-air and online. Sunshine should return for Monday and last through the rest of the work week. Expect temperatures to climb through the 80s along the way. Don’t forget to drink plenty of water and use sunscreen when outside.
