8AM TROPICAL UPDATE/VIPIR 6 ALERT DAY: Claudette is now a weak Tropical Depression and its center is getting closer to our neck of the woods. The strongest line of storms from Claudette is beginning to reach us. Good news for the northern half of the CSRA, only around 1″ of rainfall expected and not as likely of a chance for severe storms. For the southern half, there is a slight risk for severe weather. Rainfall totals expected to be 2″-3″ with gusty winds up to 40mph.
