Augusta, GA (WJBF) – Gas prices may rise as a result of tropical storm Barry.

Recently–rising oil prices have caused gas prices across the country to do the same.

Experts say the storm could force some of the country’s major gasoline refineries to shut down and drive prices even higher.

The overwhelming rain has the potential to lead to outages and can damage fuel supplies along the Gulf Coast.
