EDGEFIELD COUNTY, S.C. (WJBF) — A boil water advisory in Edgefield County is over.
Customers located in and around the area of Gregory Lake Road were impacted.
But, after an intense flushing of the distribution system, bacteriological samples were collected and analyzed by the authority. The results of this sampling indicated that the system is safe to use.
The Edgefield County Water and Sewer Authority experienced a main line water leak on Gregory Lake Road, that cause the water to be shut off.
