In 2009, North Carolina State women’s basketball coach Kay Yow died from breast cancer. Two years before her death, the Play 4Kay initiative was founded in her name and has since raised over $5.18 million to support women’s cancer research.

Saturday, the Augusta women’s basketball team showed their support for the cause with their annual Play 4Kay Pink-Out game. And they did so with an impressive 72-65 win over Clayton State, marking their fourth-straight victory and putting themselves in a tie for first in the Peach Belt.

Meanwhile, the men’s team lost its second-straight game with a 87-73 loss to Clayton State.
