North Augusta wins third-straight girls basketball state championship

The dynasty rolls on for the North Augusta girls basketball team. The Yellow Jackets claimed their third-straight South Carolina High School League 4A state championship with a 0-39 win over South Pointe on Saturday at Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, S.C.

North Augusta was led by Mya Burns and Kiana Lee. Burns finished with 13 points and 16 rebounds, while Lee racked up 12 points and 10 rebounds.

The Yellow Jackets led 28-12 at halftime and never trailed the rest of the way.
