WJBF Scholar Athletes honored at annual banquet

Scholar Athlete Award

The 32 WJBF Scholar Athletes from the 2017-2018 school year were honored at the Legends Club in Augusta, Ga. on Wednesday night.

Former Thomson High School star athlete and University Health Care System’s Director of Cardiovascular Services, Dr. Mac Bowman, was the guest speaker.

Throughout the school year, each student’s story aired on WJBF, but didn’t include some of the fun parts of the interviews.

The video is a compilation of each athlete’s response to the question, “If Hollywood was going to make a movie about your life, who would play you and why?”
