Collier Smith is a four sport athlete and will receive the “Spartan Award” which is awarded to those who have lettered in three sports for all four years of high school.
Smith has also maintained a 4.0 gpa and has been on the honor roll every semester of high school, he’s grateful for literally growing up in the Edmund Burke classroom with his mother being a teacher.
“My parents they’ve really helped me out a lot I’ve got great teachers that inspire me to do my best in everything that I do and I have great coaches that’s always been a great help for me and I just love them all,” said Collier.
” I teach 3rd grade and I taught him it was very hard because I had to be very hard on him because I didn’t want to show favortism,” said Kristy Smith, Collier’s mother.
” He’s a child with great heart and you hope that you have a child with great passion for everything that they do,” said Karen Reeves, “it shows up in the classroom it shows up on the ball field and it makes them a joy to be around.”
Collier will attend Georgia Southern and hopes to become a physical therapist.
