It was on his to-do list for more than 40 years.
A man made good on a 44-year-old parking ticket.
The fine was just $2. He added $3 in interest when he recently mailed the payment to Minersville Police Department in Pennsylvania.
The letter that accompanied the ticket was simply signed Dave.
Police Chief Michael Combs wants to thank the man
WNEP reports the ticket was issued in 1974 when the police department could not track down vehicle with out-of-state license plates. The car reportedly had an Ohio license plate.
Chief Combs tells the station that the return address was “Feeling guilty, Wayward Road, Anytown, Ca.”
