UGA’s Athletic Association said the use of the vehicle that crashed carrying four members of its football program, including two death victims, was “unauthorized, according to CNN.
The athletic department leased ford expeditions for use only in recruiting activities. Personal use was “strictly prohibited.”
Devin Willock and Chandler Lecroy died in the crash. A crash happened just hours after the team won its latest national championship.
