UPDATE: Boil water advisory over for Ascauga Lake Road area

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WJBF) – The boil water advisory for residents near the 1300 block of Ascauga Lake Road has been called off.

Breezy Hill Water & Sewer has released a statement saying that the water is safe for consumption now. This applies to residents from Ascauga Lake Road to Sudlow Crossing Subdivision.


NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WJBF) – Residents near the 1300 block of Ascauga Lake Road are advised to boil their water for 1 full minute for the next 24 hours.

This applies to residents from Ascauga Lake Road to Sudlow Crossing Subdivision.

This is due to a water line break in the area on Thursday. Breezy Hill Water & Sewer is advising residents to boil their water for at least one full minute prior to drinking or cooking for the next 24 hours. Also, any ice made from water which has not been boiled should not be used for consumption.
