Former professional wrestler Ric Flair has been rushed to the hospital after suffering a medical emergency, TMZ reports.

According to the report, 70-year-old Flair was rushed to the hospital Thursday morning while he was in Atlanta. TMZ says no specifics on the medical emergency have been released but are reporting the situation is “very serious.”

Flair was taken to the emergency room to be treated, TMZ says.

TMZ Sports received a statement from Flair’s wife Wendy Barlow, who said she expects him to make a “full recovery.”

Barlow told TMZ that Flair will “undergo a procedure [Friday] morning.”

The former wrestler also had a medical scare back in 2017 due to heart-related issues.

Flair gained fame as a big-time wrestler in the late 1970s along with several other wrestlers like Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant and “Macho Man” Randy Savage. Flair was especially popular for his antics and his “Woooo!” catchphrase.
