U.S. Army Announcing Job Cuts

The U.S. Army is set to announce its next round of job cuts this week. About 40,000 troops and 17,000 civilian employees are expected to be eliminated by 2017. The military sector announced its plans to cut about 80,000 soldiers back in 2013. U.S. Defense leaders will reveal which bases are included. The Obama Administration says it will scale back the Army to its lowest possible troop level since before World War II.
