Augusta, GA (WJBF) – There will be no shortage of laughter when performer and screenwriter Terry Sweeney visits Augusta on Thursday, February 18th for a book signing and reading.
The former Saturday Night Live cast member’s debut book, Irritable Bowels and the People Who Give You Them, is a collection of humorous essays chronicling Sweeney’s wild ride from a bullied gay kid to a successful film and television writer and performer.
Sweeney’s book signing will be from 5:30pm – 7:00pm at Signature Interiors, 502 Furys Ferry Road (BiLo Shopping Center). Owner Michael Siewert is hosting the reading, followed by a champagne reception.
Irritable Bowels and the People Who Give You Them is a fun read for anyone who has ever wondered if they could walk away from a life that’s making them crazy, and start over somewhere else and find one that makes them happy. His hilarious stories of giving up a life in Hollywood for a live in a small Southern town will both delight who and inspire.
