Vigil held in memory of USC Salkehatchie baseball player

A candlelight vigil was held on Monday night in honor of a USC Salkehatchie player who died on Friday.

The Allendale County Coroner says 21 year old Parker Neff died after collapsing on the field during practice on March 29th.

The vigil was held on the baseball field on campus. Head Coach Bubba Dorman along with several teammates spoke at the event.

A visitation will be held Tuesday at 6:00 pm  at Howze Mortuary in Travelers Rest.  The funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Greer.
