Richmond County SWAT team and Marshal’s Office end standoff on Gaskill Road

RICHMOND COUNTY, Ga.(WJBF) – A standoff is now over at a South Augusta home.

All three people in the home were removed without any injuries.

Richmond County deputies say there were weapons inside the home but no one was armed except for the father who had a knife on him.

50-year-old Lisa M. Steuer, 59-year-old Gregory Steuer and 17-year-old Rhianna G. Steuer have all been charged with the felony count of Terroristic Threats and Acts.

Richmond County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team and the Marshal’s Office were engaged in a standoff at a home on Gaskill Road in South Augusta.

Richmond County dispatch says the Marshal’s Office went to the home around 10 a.m. with what they believe to be an eviction notice.

However, the three people in the home refused to come out of the home, stating “We’re not coming out without a fight.”

The three are now in custody. No word on their names.

No injuries are reported.
