SALUDA COUNTY, S.C. (WJBF) — One person is dead following a crash in Saluda County.
Troopers say it happened Saturday, May 20, three miles east of Saluda off on Denny Highway / SC-194 near Bridle Path Road.
The driver of a car, later identified as Sarah Nichole Stone, 34, of Prosperity, veered off the right side of the highway and after overcorrecting, struck a tree and overturned. She was ejected from the car.
She died at the scene.
