“Out There…Somewhere”: Coming home to roost at Graniteville Apartments

News

GRANITEVILLE, S.C.  (WJBF) – It’s pretty typical apartment complex except for one thing, those neighbors.

“I wonder where are they coming from,” said one resident.

“I don’t know where they came from,” said Andrew Edmondson another resident.

“Are they good neighbors or are they bad neighbors?”

“I guess when they be out there goes some right there I guess when they be out they’ll be all right,” said Chris Gleaton another resident.

Yes here’s what’s ruffling feathers at Kalmia Apartments, chickens roaming free.

Lots of chickens some are little, some bigger, some kind of pretty.

“It seems to be an expensive species so that’s what I’ve noticed,” said the first resident who didn’t want to give her name.

Around here you can’t help but notice the chickens what do you think, or does the cat have your tongue when discussing the chickens.

“As long as they don’t mess with me I don’t mess with them,” said Edmonson.

Let’s see how close we can get to the chickens of Graniteville oh what you are chicken.

They’re not all chickens there’s also a couple of roosters…. and they think that’s something to crow

“That’s been waking me up early in the morning six o’clock early in the morning they’re consistent because they always six o’clock early in the morning,” said Edmondson.

Those neighbors are really chicken, and some wouldn’t mind if they flew the coop.
