Thomson, Ga. (WJBF) – UPDATE: The lockdown at Thomson High School is over.
Resource officers did a thorough search and no weapon was found.
Thomson High School is on lockdown after reoports of a weapon being seen on campus.
According to Kris Wells, spokesperson for McDuffie County, the school followed protocol and went on lockdown.
The school resource officers are invesitgating at this time.
