AUGUSTA (WJBF) – The Richmond County Coroner’s Office is investigating a shooting death that occurred Thursday.
The incident happened on Verdery Street at Oak Street last night.
Authorities say 32-year-old Myron Garnett of Verdery St. was shot at least one time and pronounced dead on scene at 9:43 pm.
30-year-old Shakeichia Jackson was arrested, booked into the Charles B. Webster Detention Center with charged with Murder.
