Graniteville, SC (WJBF) – A Graniteville man has been arrested and is facing multiple drug-related charges during a drug investigation.

On Tuesday, around 9:30 a.m., narcotic investigators with the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office ended a 4-month long investigation with the arrest of 66-year-old Garland Clifton Harper, of Graniteville, South Carolina.

According to Captain Eric Abdullah, with the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office, the search warrant was served at Harper’s home on the 200 block of Bettis Academy Road and resulted in the seizure of illegal prescription drugs, cash, and more than 80 weapons.

Investigators also discovered that Harper’s home had indications that it had been used as a gambling establishment at some point prior to this investigation.

Harper was taken to the Aiken County Detention Center and booked on 2 counts of Possession with the Intent to Distribute Controlled Substance Schedule II and 2 counts of Possession with the Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance within the Proximimity of a School.
