AIKEN, S.C. (WJBF) – A local school honored Jacob Hall’s memory on Monday.

Horse Creek Academy in Aiken raised money for the 6-year-old’s family by sporting their favorite superhero costumes at school.

So far the students and staff have collected nearly $400 dollars.

Horse Creek Academy Principle Mark Brown says they will continue accepting donations until the end of the week.

“We need to come together and show the kids that we are a family. No matter where we are at,” Brown said.”What school district, what school system. We are still a family. I think it’s a great way to honor a young life that was tragically lost.”

The school will send the Hall family a picture and check on Friday.

If you are interested in making a donation, please drop-off a check at the school.
