BARNWELL COUNTY, S.C. (WJBF) – Five individuals are facing charges in the death of a Hephzibah man.

In a joint investigation with Allendale Coroner’s Office, Barnwell County Coroner Denise Gibson announced the human remains found in a vehicle last weekend have been identified as 48-year-old Alfonzo Green.

Green was last seen June 27th when he left his Hephzibah home for work.

Five suspects have been arrested and charged with the murder of Green.

Aubra “AJ” Dunbar, Jr., Hezekiah Croney, and D’Angelo Tyrone Moffite were all arrested last week in connection with the case.

Joseph Keyshawn Freeman of Barnwell and Terrionna Marie Hartwell of Gaston were apprehended on July 13 in Columbia, South Carolina by members of the SLED Fugitive Team, Richland Sheriff’s Office, Lexington Sheriff’s Office and the Barnwell Sheriff’s Office.

Both are charged with Murder and Conspiracy.
