Randolph County Election Board votes to keep all polling stations open

Randolph County has voted to change course and keep all of its 9 precincts open. 

The 60 percent African-American county drew major state and national backlash after proposing to close 7 of the precincts, primarily those in African-American areas. 

The county also just fired the contractor who crafted that plan. 

We are investigating the work of that consultant  — as he’s allegedly responsible for leading the closures of precincts in 10 other Georgia counties.
