Ga. Governor extends the voter registration deadline in 4 southwest counties hit by Michael

Georgia News

Georgia Governor Nathan Deal has extended the voter registration deadline in four southwest counties that were hit by Hurricane Michael.

The deadline for registering to participate in the November 6th midterm election will now be extended to October 16.

This is for residents of Clay, Grady, Randolph, and Turner counties.

Election offices in those areas were forced to close early on the day of the original deadline, October 9, because of Storm Michael.
