Columbia County, G.a. (WJBF) – The City of Grovetown handling a water main break Tuesday afternoon.

Officials say water is shut off at Cedar Ridge Elementary due to a split pipe near Trudeau Trail.

Public Works employees responded and are expected to take several hours to fix it.

The school will be on a boil water advisory once the pipe is repaired and service is restored.

The school appears to be the only user impacted by the main break.

But if anyone else in the area experiences low water pressure, they are advised to boil their water for 1 minute before use.
