Man accused of killing 2 Georgia corrections officers wants to move trial away from Putnam Co

Crime News

The man accused of killing two Georgia corrections officers last year wants to move his trial away from Putnam County.

Attorneys for Ricky DuBose believe the jury where the manhunt took place may be biased.

DuBose and Donnie Rowe are accused of killing two corrections officers during an escape from a prison transfer bus on June 13th.

They were both in prison on armed robbery and assault charges.

They are both facing the death penalty if found guilty.

They are currently being held at a state prison in Jackson.
