SOUTH CAROLINA (WJBF) – Former Augusta Commissioner Sammie Sias has been officially booked into prison.
Sias is an inmate at the facility in Williamsburg County, South Carolina.
The former Augusta Commissioner was convicted on 2 counts of destroying, altering, or falsifying records in a federal investigation.
He’ll spend the next three years at the medium-security facility.
