AUGUSTA (WJBF) – An Augusta man was arrested for allegedly tickling, licking a 7-year-old boy’s feet at Augusta at Urban Air Adventure Park in Augusta.

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO) tells NewsChannel 6 that 25-year-old Caurey Rollins was at Urban Air on January 14. They say he was inside a fenced in area where children were playing.

Rollins allegedly approached a 7-year-old boy tickled the child’s feet, then asked him to remove his socks. The report goes on to say Rollins then licked both the boy’s feet.

The owners of the establishment said there were no video cameras in the area where the alleged assault took place.

Arrest warrants were filed on Tuesday, Feb. 7. At the time the warrants were filed, Rollins was listed as being employed by Glenn Hills Elementary School as a paraprofessional, a position he held since Aug. 11, 2022.

According to records obtained by WJBF NewsChannel 6, Rollins was placed on unpaid administrative leave on Tuesday, Jan. 17, and Rollins resigned from his position on Saturday, Feb. 11. Rollins was arrested on Thursday, Feb. 16.

Rollins is charged with Non-Aggravated Child Molestation. According to the warrant filed for Rollins’ arrest, Rollins was allegedly displaying a cell phone with its flashlight powered on during the act.
