NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WJBF) – North Augusta Public Safety Officers responded to an armed robbery.

It happened shortly before 4:00 a.m. Monday morning at 525 East Martintown Road at the Sprint Station.

According to an incident report, the subject walked in the store wearing a long sleeve black shirt, camo mask, red shoes carrying a bag. He’s described as having long locs , possibly in his 30’s, and over 6 feet tall.

The report says the subject walked behind the counter and knocked the clerk to the ground, pulled out a black and blue shotgun and pointed at the person.

He demanded money from the two safes in the front of the store and even knew the code to one of them.

The subject took the money and demanded the clerk lock themselves in the bathroom, before leaving the scene.
