Freebies and deals for vets on Veterans Day

(WJBF) - In honor of military veterans, a number of businesses are offering discounts on food and services for Veterans Day at participating locations.

A Military ID is required for these deals.

  • Applebee’s | Veterans and Active Duty Military can receive a free meal from a limited menu.
  • Bonefish Grill | Veterans and active duty military get a free Bang Bang Shrimp 
  • Buffalo Wild Wings | Veterans and active duty military personnel receive one small order of wings and a side of fries for free
  • California Dreaming | A free entrée
  • Carrabba’s | All veterans and active duty service members get a free appetizer November 11th through 13th.
  • Cicis Pizza | Get a free pizza buffet with Military ID
  • Chicken Salad Chick | Veterans and active duty military receive one sandwich or scoop of their choice of chicken salad, one side, a pickle spear, a cookie and a drink.
  • Chili’s | Veterans and active military service members get a free meal from a limited menu.
  • Chipotle | Active duty military, Reserves, National Guard, veterans and spouses get a buy-one-get-one deal from 3:00 p.m. to close
  • The Chop House | On November 11th and 12th, The Chop House is offering 50% off any dine-in lunch or dinner entrée to veterans with military ID or in uniform.
  • Chuck E. Cheese’s | Active and retired military members can enjoy a free individual 1-topping pizza 
  • Cracker Barrel | Veterans get a choice of complimentary Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola® Cake dessert or Crafted Coffee beverage
  • Denny’s | Active, inactive and retired military personnel get a free Build Your Own Grand Slam from 5 a.m. to Noon.
  • FATZ Café | Veterans and active military get a free Calabash Chicken entree
  • HoneyBaked Ham | Veterans and active duty military members get a free lunch at select locations
  • Hooters | Veterans and active duty military get a free meal from a select menu at participating locations
  • IHOP | Participating IHOP Restaurants offer veterans and active duty military free Red, White and Blue pancakes from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Krispy Kreme | All veterans get a free doughnut and small coffee at participating locations.
  • Krystal | All guests with their military ID may receive a complimentary breakfast Sausage Biscuit from opening until 11 am
  • Logan’s Roadhouse | Veterans get a free entree from a special menu
  • Little Caesars | Veterans and active military members receive a free $5 Lunch Combo from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • LongHorn Steakhouse -- Active duty military, veterans and their families get a complimentary appetizer or dessert. Guests that dine with a veteran will also receive 10 percent off their meal.

  • O’Charley’s | On November 11th and 12th, Veterans and active duty service members get a free meal from a special Veterans Day Thank You Menu

  • Olive Garden | Active duty military and veterans get a free entrée from a special menu

  • Outback Steakhouse | All active and retired service members receive a free Bloomin’ Onion and a beverage on November 11. Outback is also offering active and former service members 15% off their meals Nov. 12 through Dec. 31.

  • Red Lobster | Veterans, reserve and active-duty military personnel receive a free appetizer or dessert from a limited menu on November 10 and 11.

  • Red Robin | Veterans and active duty military get a free Red’s Tavern Double Burger with Bottomless Steak Fries

  • Ruby Tuesday | Veterans, active duty and reserve service members get a free appetizer

  • Ryan’s | Veterans and active duty military get a free buffet and drink

  • Starbucks | Veterans, reservists, active duty service members and spouses get a free tall coffee on November 11 at participating locations.

  • Sticky Fingers | Veterans and active military get a free pulled pork sandwich with baked beans and cole slaw

  • TGIFridays | Veterans and active duty military get a free lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

  • Texas Roadhouse | A free lunch from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Offer is good for active duty, retired or former U.S. military.

  • Twin Peaks | All veterans, active duty military and reservists can eat for free from a select menu.

  • Wild Wing Cafe | Military veterans, retirees and active duty are offered a complimentary meal. 
  • World of Beer | All veterans and current service members receive a free select draught beer 

Retail Deals:

  • Great Clips | Veterans and current military members can visit a Great Clips salon to receive either a free haircut or the free haircut card to use at a later date. Non-military customers can purchase a service on Veterans Day and get a free haircut card to give to a veteran you know. Haircuts are redeemable until Dec. 31.

  • Rack Room Shoes | Military personnel and their dependents get a 10% discount off entire purchase 

  • Sport Clips | Participating locations are offering veterans and active duty service members free haircuts

  • World of Coca-Cola in Atlanta | Thursday, Nov. 1 to Sunday, Nov. 11, members of the Armed Forces may purchase up to four half-price general admission tickets for their friends and family to join them in visiting the attraction
