FDA warning pet owners about these dog foods

(CNN) – The FDA warning pet owners about dog food that causes heart disease.

The administration started the investigation in July 2018.

Officials believe certain ingredients can cause the condition like peas, lentils and potatoes.

A new report states more than 500 brands are linked to the condition including Blue Buffalo, Natural Balance, Nutro and Rachel Ray.

The FDA says if your dog has heart disease, please report it.
