Bond Granted For Some Suspects In Deadly Chaps Lane Brawl

Augusta, GA (WJBF) – WJBF News Channel 6 has learned that some suspects in a deadly brawl that happened Friday, March 18th on Chaps Lane is Hephzibah, Georgia have been granted bond.

Demahjay Bell, 18, was stabbed and killed during the brawl.

Tyteanna Thomas, 18, was granted bond of $75,000. She is charged with Aggravated Assault and Murder.

Quiauna Henley, 35, was not granted bond due to the fact she was deemed a threat to the community. She is now being held for trial. She is charged with Aggravated Assault and Murder.

Quiasha Henley, 18, was granted bond of $75,000. She is charged with Aggravated Assault and Murder.

A’lexis Cain, 18, was granted bond of $75,000. She is charged with Aggravated Assault and Murder.

Ryheem Jobes, 19, was granted bond of $75,000. He is charged with Aggravated Assault and Murder.

Myah Tyanna Dunbar, 18, was granted bond of $75,000. She is charged with Aggravated Assault and Murder.

Eyvette Lawshawn Byrd, 39, was not granted bond due to the fact she was deemed a threat to the community. She is now being held for trial. She is charged with Murder.

Conditions for granted bonds: No cell phones, no internet/social media, no contact with those involved, no contact with witnesses or Demahjay Bell’s family, they must be home between 6:30 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. unless they are meeting with their legal team, they are working, or they are at school, they cannot violate any laws, they cannot have guns, at all.

Their bond will be revoked if they break any of the conditions and they will then be held for trial. There is now word, at this time, if any of the suspects have posted bond.

We have also learned that 20-year-old Michael Donnell Dean, of Brook Crossing in Augusta, has now been arrested in connection to the incident. He has been charged with Murder and Aggravated Assault.

Terry Lee Daniels, 19, is still in jail and is charged with Murder. Demetrius Lamont Harris Jr., 21, is still in jail and is charged with Murder.

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is still looking for 18-year-old Eddie Doneal Carter III, formerly of Wharton Drive in Augusta.
