WAYNESBORO, Ga. (WJBF) – We now know the identity of the man found dead in Burke County.
GBI confirms it is 25-year-old Daniel Triplett. His body was found on Middleground Road and H Berol Road.
Investigators say he was shot, but will not release how many times.
The Burke County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
His body will be sent to the GBI Crime Lab in Atlanta for an autopsy.
