Augusta Animal Services Now Accepting Spay/Neuter Applications


Augusta, GA (WJBF) – Augusta Animal Services (AAS) has announced that it has received a $7,500 grant from the Georgia Department of Agriculture to perform spays and neuters of cats and dogs.

This grant allows AAS to provide 300 no cost surgeries to pets of Augusta-Richmond County residents.

The number of surgeries will be divided equally between Augusta Commission districts.

Applications can be obtained from Augusta Animal Services or online.
