SALUDA, S.C. – Police in Ridge Spring and the Saluda County Sheriff’s Office have ruled out one of the initial three suspects as being involved in a convenience store shooting in Ridge Spring, but one suspect is still being sought.
Law enforcement officials are still looking for Darquarious Tremaine Fuller in connection to the attempted robbery at The Top of the Ridge store on Main Street.

RIDGE SPRING, S.C. – An attempted robbery at The Top of the Ridge store on Main Street in Ridge Spring led to attempted murder charges for an apprehended suspect. That’s according to the Saluda County Sheriff’s Office.
During the attempted robbery Monday afternoon, involving three suspects, a store employee was shot in the upper thigh. The victim has been treated and released with non-life threatening injuries.
All three suspects fled the store on foot, but one of them–23-year-old Marcus Clifford Cunningham of Greenwood, S.C.–was taken into custody and has been charged with attempted murder, armed robbery, kidnapping, and use of a weapon during a violent crime. Cunningham is currently awaiting a bond hearing at the Saluda County Jail.
