NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WJBF) – A home in North Augusta caught fire Wednesday morning.

North Augusta Department of Public Safety tells NewsChannel 6 that the call came in about 4:30 a.m.

Fire crews responded to 633 Park Avenue shortly thereafter.

EMS was notified for one person having smoke inhalation but they were not transported to the hospital.

Authorities say the house suffered extensive damage.

Four people are displaced because of the fire.

Cause of fire is still under investigation.
