AIKEN COUNTY, S.C.- The Aiken County Public School District has received a $375,000 Education and Economic Development Act (EEDA) Preparing College- and Career-Ready Graduates grant.
The money will be used to help 100 students from three high poverty middle schools.
Students will take part in a variety of enrichment programs.
The goal is to help the students graduate from high school on time, score at least an 18 on the ACT and attain a minimum of a Silver WorkKeys Certificate.
