Aiken County Schools offering incentives for incoming bus drivers

AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WJBF) – More incentives have been approved to recruit more bus drivers for the Aiken County Public School District.

According to Board Member, Jason Crane, the entire board agreed to continue the $1,000 hiring bonus.

They also voted to increase driver pay by an extra dollar per hour. 

Right now, the district is short 34 bus drivers.
