JENNIE: Sign up now for upcoming United Way events

On this last episode in March, the month in which we celebrate International Women’s Day, we are spotlighting several boss women in Augusta…  and one little girl who is on her way to being a confident and influential young woman.
We’ll meet two women who are behind a popular play series coming up at Le Chat Noir in April… and
the woman at the top of the United Way of the CSRA.

Just about 6 months ago, Brittany Burnett stepped into a big job in the garden city: President and CEO of the United Way. She shared some of the agency’s successes recently at the United Way’s 84th annual meeting & luncheon.
“The United Way impacts the lives of someone everyone three minutes, we actually impact the lives of over 1 in 5 people throughout the CSRA so it is for things like after school programs, making sure our seniors are in safe and structure environment, it is making sure that our small kids are on set and are ready to succeed when they enter Kindergarten and everything in between”
