Augusta Training Shop has a blizzard of snowflakes for sale

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) - The Augusta Training Shop's website says it simply: "New life for furniture, new purpose for life."

The non-profit dates back to 1947.  It employs mentally and physically challenged adults who learn how to repair, strip and refinish furniture, re-cane chairs and polish metals.

Executive director Audrey Murell says the snowflakes are sold around the world.

"These are true representations of snowflakes in the natural world. Not one is the same, and never will be."

Augusta Training Shop   is located at 1704 Jenkins Street, just off Walton Way. For more information call
