Augusta Fire Dept. teaches students safety for Adopt-A-School

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) Members of the Augusta Fire Department stopped by A. Brian Merry Elementary School on Wednesday.

The stop was part of the department’s Adopt-A-School program.

Members stop by a different school every month to educate students and staff about fire safety.

The goal is to educate young kids about fire safety and create positive relationships between students and the fire fighters.
