One person is dead following a fatal accident in Columbia County.
Investigators say the incident happened around 11:45 a.m. Monday, when the victim, riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle, was traveling North on Highway 221, just north of West Dam.
According to Columbia County Coroner, Vernon Collins the victim’s name was James Taylor.
Witnesses say the driver began to weave before leaving the roadway, continuing into the woods where they were ejected from the bike.
Investigators say there were no skid marks or evidence of mechanical problems and believe the crash was possibly the result of a medical condition.
No word yet on the victim’s identity.
