Lanes reopened after fuel spill at intersection of I-520 & Washington Road

COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. (WJBF) – Crews are cleaning a fuel spill from an early morning crash at the intersection of Washington Road and Bobby Jones Expressway.

According to dispatch, a garbage truck collided with a passenger car causing the garbage truck’s gas tank to be compromised.

NewsChannel 6 has learned that the intersection is blocked and traffic is being rerouted.

Motorists should find an alternate route.
