Vice President Mike Pence and Brian Kemp set to visit Grovetown

Hundreds of signs line the entranceway to the Columbia County Exhibition Center. Happening now until 1 p.m., a security sweep, making way for Vice President Pence.

Vice President Mike Pence and President Trump have both publicly endorsed Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp in this election.

They both will be visiting Georgia over the next few days campaigning for Kemp and other Republican nominees — but it’s Vice President Pence that will be stopping by the CSRA today.

The Georgia Governor’s race has attracted national attention as the state could potentially swing blue and elect the nation’s first black female governor in Stacy Abrams.

Today, Pence is headlining 3 rallies in Georgia: Dalton, Savannah and Grovetown.

And President Trump will be in Macon on Sunday building support.

“I am surprised that I would be here this day. I’m from out of town. I’d love to see him, but I don’t know if I would have time,” says Patty Mullins.

“I think it is a big deal for the community, but I don’t agree with his politics, so I am really not interested,” says Ronnie Wideman.

Pence will be at the Columbia County Exhibition Center in Grovetown Thursday at 2:30 p-m.

Doors open at 1 and the Family Y connected to the center will be closed from 10 a.m. until 4.

Vice President Mike Pence is set to make a campaign stop in the Peach State next month.

He will be hosting three campaign rallies next week along Republican Gubernatorial nominee Brian Kemp.

Those events will be held in Dalton, Savannah and Grovetown. The event in Grovetown will be held at 2:30 pm on November 1st at the Columbia County Exhibition Center.

The Family Y nearby will be closed from 10 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for security purposes.
