AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – A double homicide investigation is underway in Richmond County.
Coroner Mark Bowen tells us 75-year-old Hilton and 73-year-old Jeannette Turner were found dead inside their home the 100 block of East Hale Street.
Both Hilton and Jeannette had been shot at least once. They were both pronounced dead on the scene at 4:00 p.m.
The call came in at 3:11 p.m.
An autopsy will be done at the GBI lab Thursday.
