Thanksgiving is just three days away and The James Brown Family Foundation is kicking off its season of giving.
The annual turkey giveaway Monday, Nov. 19.
Residents in the River Region that pre-registered can receive their free turkey at May Park from 8 am to 9 am.
Year after year people lineup for the event.
The tradition started back in the early 1990’s by the Godfather of Soul.
The James Brown Family Foundation has continued the giveaway since his death in 2006.
