Suspicious Death at Red Roof Inn under Investigation

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a suspicious death at the Red Roof Inn.

The coroner’s office says that 35 year old Ashley Loren Knowles was found in a room at the hotel around 9:50 Thursday morning. She was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:15 am.

An autopsy is scheduled for Friday at the GBI Crime Lab in Atlanta.

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office and Coroner’s Office are investigating.
